Content and language integrated learning in bachelor programs in linguistics: Prospects and potentials

Communicative and active learning is recognized as a dominant didactic model in foreign languages teaching paradigm, wherein Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) seems to be very promising. The key principle of CLIL its dual focus: subject through language subject. focus lesson on the content, which students need not only understand learn, but interiorize language. Being placed specific cultural context, content gains certain linguistic features are country for each professional sphere. article also addresses how develop Cognitive Academic Proficiency (CALP). master improve skills by mastering lexico-grammatical patterns discourse formulas focused area. Using several (plurilingual approach) would allow even more effectively.
